Certain Essential Aspects of Canada Immigration

by ABHINAV Immigration

Though many people think that to qualify for Canada Immigration under skilled migration category, one must have the work experience related to his field of education, but in practice, it is not necessary for the applicant to have work experience in the same field of his education. The Quebec Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled Worker Program, both these programs provide points to the applicants irrespective of their field of study and training.

However, one thing to remember is that the Skilled Worker Program of Quebec provides points on the relevant Education or Training for in-demand Quebec occupations. You can claim points under training factor if you have earned the qualification within last five years or have experience of at least one year during last 5 years in a field related to the mentioned qualification. Also keep in mind that under the experience factor, you can count experience during last 5 years only and it can be in any occupation excepting those of Skill Level "D". One can claim language points depending on language skills.

There are many overseas aspirants who are Academic IELTS and want to apply for Canada immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. But unfortunately, the Federal Skilled Worker Program doesn't accept Academic IELTS. Every applicant has to provide the General IELTS results, irrespective of English as their native language. The applicants have to attach their IELTS results along with their application, otherwise their application will not be accepted and will be returned to them.

The applicants applying for Canada Immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker scheme are awarded with points for their work experience irrespective of their occupation type, depending on certain conditions, such as:

• Have claimed work experience not more than 10 years prior to the date of their submission of application;

• Should have Managerial, Skill Level A, or Skill Level B work experience, as under the system of NOC

• Got paid for their work

However, one thing to remember is that an applicant is provided with maximum 21 points for their work experience.

Thus, to qualify for Canada Immigration, there are several criteria that an applicant has to fulfill. Though most of those conditions are simple and straight forward, yet sometimes, applicants may find it difficult to clearly understand the immigration conditions and here comes the importance of an immigration expert.

If you are planning to migrate to Canada, then in order to make you immigration successful to this nation, you can approach the immigration consultants who have extensive knowledge and experience in this field.
